good spot for a water base. easy to defend when a large wave of cannibals comes by (due the layout of the base they will usually bug/jump into the warter to make a strike against the foundation wich causes them to drown or they get stuck for a short period of time in the custom foundation "bridge" when they try to escape). no super mutants on normal mode after surviving 43 days so far. althought its choosen to be a medium difficulty there is a large varity on resource nearby like birds, 2 turtle spawns (one right beside of it and one near the cannibal watchtower), 2 fish colonies, some deers and squirrels can be found in the forest. standard resources like trees stick trees and rocks. there is also a good ammount on rabbits and lizards close to the containers. berries and medical plants can be found in the forest.

Natural walls on 3 sides (left, right, behind), easy to defend. Unlikely of cannibals roaming around the area. Good deer and raccoon spawn. CON: you have to fight the cold the first time you live here, upgraded stick is recommended (longer lasting fire)

There are a lot of trees nearby and sea turtles come often so no shortage of food, very few natives come by, one been found twice in 22 days.

My island keep. The island is small, but close to an abundant source of stone on the beach to the west of it as well as boozes, turtles, computers, luggage, and fishing ponds to the north. The two rock formations also create a natural funnel into the keep.

A small camp site can be found here, yielding an extremely large amount of flares and money (about 20 of both) contained in suitcases. The player can sleep in one of the tents and a pot can be found here to boil dirty water from the neighboring pond. Deer are extremely abundant, as well as fish in the pond. Natives are rare during the daytime, however may approach the camp site at night. Overall a fantastic first place to go when starting a new game!

Great spot to construct a fort around the small pond (plenty of rocks lying around to use for rock walls), and deer/rabbits in the forest to the west. Numerous trees down south as well.

this location quite rich and you can find lots of animals, plants and woods. Close to the sea moreover, its pretty close to the lake and you can hunt some fish.

Good as a starting area. After fleeing for half a day, I found this secluded spot, where I have only seen cannibals 2 times, in the time I spent building this house. Squirrels, boars and deers are the primary foodsource, with mushrooms as well. Loads of big trees and stones, but sticks is found few of close by.
